Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Saldanha Bay Municipality

SANEC and the Saldanha Bay Municipality signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton Johannesburg on May 14, 2009.

The Memorandum of Understanding aims to define a general framework for cooperation between SANEC and the Saldanha Bay Municipality and as a result to strengthen the economic ties between the Netherlands and South Africa. This will be achieved by implementing the SANTF (Southern African – Netherlands Transport Forum) APBC Strategy, and by promoting and facilitating bilateral exports, imports, services, tourism, and investments in order to contribute to mutually beneficial, sustainable economic growth.

The strategic goal is to link the business platform of SANEC and the Saldanha Bay Municipality in order to provide SANEC members new business opportunities and encourage partnerships.
