Bilateral trade and business opportunities:

Establishing business matches

Via the individual matchmaking SANEC will help you find potential business partners. In a typical matchmaking SANEC offers a minimum of 10 relevant business meetings that take place in one week. Transport and accommodation can also be arranged by SANEC.

Trade missions

With a Trade Mission SANEC aims to highlight opportunities for Trade and Investment in Southern Africa and the Netherlands to key audiences in different sectors. At the same time SANEC aims to raise the profile of both business destinations.

Last years SANEC organised Trade Missions in: Renewable Energy, Food Processing, The Medical Sector, World Cup 2010, Water & Transport and Safety & Security.

Representations for (non-) governmental organisations and companies.

SANEC has several partnerships with parties like Cape Winelands and Zambia in which SANEC makes representations for them in the Netherlands or Southern Africa with the aim to highlight and promote trade and investment opportunities in the region.

Round Table Conversations

Throughout the year SANEC organises round the table discussions where interesting and inspiring speakers provide members with relevant information about a certain topic to support their business activities. Subjects in 2009 were among others Property & Hospitality by Pam Golding, The New Company Law & Corporate Immigration Solutions by IBN and Cliffe Dekker, Conflict transformation by Phaphama Initiatives and Connect to Innovate to Attract by ITO Focus.

Trade & Investment Gala Dinner

This prestigious annual gala dinner is the highlight of SANEC’s networking events, with top-level keynote speakers and first class entertainment. In 2008 the event was attented by 300 people, excisting of leading personalities from South African and Dutch governmental circles.

Meet & Greet Cocktails

Through meet & greet cocktails members get to know the SANEC members and take the opportunity to discuss business in an informal setting.

Every year in February SANEC publishes her Business Directory. Besides containing information about our members, the Business Directory has proven to be a strong medium for readers to identify potential trading partners as well as useful business contacts. Furthermore the Business Directory informs you about doing business in Southern Africa, news on trade and industry and trends in both countries.

Throughout the year SANEC provide her members via the news update with information about SANEC, members, interesting news in Southern Africa and upcoming events.

· Market research

SANEC conducts regularly market research on various topics.
